The vintage A Child's Garden of Verses prints of children are very lovely, some are really exquisite, and we think that of the black and whites as well as the color illustrations. If you look at the black and white art print called "Looking Glass River" you can see it almost looks like a photo. Really well done.
An aspect of printing old artwork we thought you might like to see is a before and after look at a print. The children's art print called "In The Company of Fairies" shows what cleaning the print and adding highlights can do to better 'show' a fine vintage print.
This catalog of art prints for kids comes from a second copy of A Child's Garden of Verses, written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The prints from this book are illustrated by Florence Edith Storer. Charles Scribner's Sons published the book in 1918, but the copyright is listed as 1909.
This is the second catalog of art prints for kids by Robert Louis Stevenson, from the second book by Mr. Stevenson in our inventory. (A third copy with different illustrators is being worked on). Please take a look at each copy. The illustrations are very different in style.
