Eighteenth Annual Report Bureau of Animal Industry
The Bureau of Animal Industry certainly isn't a "read" for children... just a bit too technical. But if you have ever seen children delight in chickens, roosters, and their offspring, you know they do love these birds, and just may love the American Breeds of Fowls prints. The fine fowl prints are so lovely that we decided to include them in our inventory for artprintsforkids.com. Give them a view, if you happen to be a lover of fowl.
We reproduced the birds as they were printed, but did add our own twist. Since each bird is presented in this report with the male and female likenesses of the individual breeds, we decided that putting the male and female on one page made sense. You will find a copy of both sexes of each breed in a 5 x 7 inch format and in an 8 x 10 inch format.
We came across this vintage publication's chicken prints in the Eighteenth Annual Report of the Bureau of Animal Industry. This report does not have a copyright date, but each color plate has An. Rpt. B. A. I. 1901.
