These fine old art prints are very unique. Each print is accompanied by a poem about the picture of a flower. Most prints look like preschool to kindergarten aged girls and boys dressed in Halloween costumes resembling flowers. We are guessing the art medium is watercolor.
A very cute flower child is Brian Rose. Other flowers may dress babies, young elementary age children, young teenaged children, and once in a while an old woman or man. Dandelion is a print that combines both children and an "old" dandelion. These prints could be used anywhere you like seeing cute, funny children.
Flower Children was written by Elizabeth Gordon. It was published in 1910 by R. F. Volland & Company. We included the poems that accompany the vintage illustrations done by M.T. Ross because they help in conveying the innocence Elizabeth Gordon cherished.
