At the Back of the North Wind prints are very realistic. They are prints of the little boy Diamond, others from Diamond's life and his very special friend, The North Wind. The illustration of Diamond in North Wind was Dancing could be any little boy and his mother having a wonderful time dancing. Diamond is very taken with North Wind, and she with him... There is also a lovely Baby on His Lap print that would work well in a baby's nursery.
In the story itself, Diamond is smitten with the horse his father uses for his cab, in the streets of London. The Cheek Strap print is a print for you if you have little ones who love horses. All prints are showing Diamond's adventures because of the North Wind.
At the Back of the North Wind is written by George MacDonald and illustrated by Maria L. Kirk. It is copyrighted 1909 and printed by J.B. Lippincott Co.
