In Our Story Book prints, we have taken what we thought are particularly appealing old vintage prints, and added a bit of color. There are not that many prints that would reproduce well, so the collection is limited. There is only one color print from the entire book these prints were found in, "Girl in Red Coat." The color print "Three Children Marching" has been colorized with watercolor, by Art Prints For Kids. "Three Children Marching" is available in black and white also.
This delightful storybook for young children has no listed author or illustrator. Cupples & Leon Company published Our Story Book in New York in 1916. Black and white illustrations accompany the many, many stories, jingles and rhymes. We have found some of the same images, stories and rhymes in other similar books, same circa.
