The Tailor of Gloucester prints of this very old vintage fairytale tell the story without reading the book! It is really a delightful story and the old prints are beautiful, beautifully colored and full of detail. The pieces of clothing are so richly painted that they seem like main characters.
The mice are cute, plump and well drawn, as are all the characters. One of our favorites is the circle of mice print, all the mice sewing busily for the sick Tailor.
These children's fairytale prints would be delightful for a girl's room and some could also
work as powder room prints. Fairytale prints of beautiful clothes and industrious adorable sewing mice would also work well as sewing room prints.
This fairytale story, The Tailor of Gloucester was written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter. It was copyrighted in 1903 and published by Frederick Warne & Co.
Due to copyright law, these prints are not available outside the United States.
